The Panama Canal, known worldwide as the Eighth Wonder of the World, has a length of approximately 80 kilometers between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. During our tour we will visit one of the most impressive parts of the Canal: "The Miraflores Locks".
The Miraflores Locks is one of the three locks that make up the Canal that help ships go up and down in order to navigate over the Central Mountain Range of Panama.
The next stop will be El Casco Viejo or Casco Antiguo founded in 1673. This is one of the most attractive Spanish colonial destinations in the Americas. Its historic district remains intact, with narrow streets, colonial architecture and Caribbean style that invites visitors to learn about Panama's history and culture.
This is also a great opportunity to buy handicrafts made by different indigenous communities in Panama.
