Biomuseum & Handicrafts Market

$1.00

The tour starts with a visit to the “Amador Causeway”, a group of three islands linked to the main land by the breakwaters of the Panama Canal.
At the Amador Causeway we will visit the Bio Museum (or Museum of Biodiversity). This world class museum with its stunning multicolored structure was designed by the famous architect Frank Gehry, being his only work in Latin America. The building was designed to tell the story of how the Isthmus of Panama arose from the sea 15 million years ago, uniting two continents, separating a vast ocean in two, and changing the planet’s biodiversity forever.
After this, we will visit the Handicrafts Market, where you will have the opportunity to appreciate and buy the works of Panamanian artisans to remember your visit in our country.
