History is all around in Panama. In this tour you are going to experience this history by visiting the “Casco Viejo”, the Old Quarter, founded in 1673. This is one of the most attractive Spanish colonial destinations of the Americas and its historical district remains intact, with wide streets, colonial architecture and Caribbean style that invite participants to learn about the history and culture of Panama.

Is also a great opportunity to shop different handcrafts made by the indigenous communities, souvenirs of cocobolo wood and the famous Panama hat.

Later let’s visit the Biodiversity Museum…. Designed by world-renowned architect Frank Gehry, the Biomuseo is his only work in Latin America and the tropics. The building was designed to tell the story of how the Isthmus of Panama rose from the sea, uniting two continents, separating a vast ocean in two, and changing the planet’s biodiversity forever.

The Biomuseo is located on the Amador Causeway, a prominent area at the entrance to the Panama Canal in the Pacific Ocean. From the Biomuseo one can clearly observe the skyline of the modern city, the historic district, Ancon Hill, and the Bridge of the Americas. This unique area was restricted to Panamanians during the days of the former US-controlled Canal Zone.

Right here is where you can adventure yourself or a group of partners in a Bike ride around the area.
