As Eclusas de Miraflores são um dos três conjuntos de eclusas que funcionam como elevadores de água, elevando e baixando os navios desde o nível do mar até ao nível da água do Lago Gatun. A partir do centro de observação, será possível ver a ação, observando os barcos que passam pelas eclusas de acordo com o horário disponível do Canal do Panamá.
